Expiry dates for one vehicle

What it means

How it works

  1. Pick the expiry date for each document. Leave a date empty if it does not apply.
  2. The countdown uses today's date. Dates within your warning window turn amber, and dates that have passed turn red.
  3. Nothing is saved, so use a register or reminder for the dates you want to keep.

What to do with the result

  • ✓ Treat an expired paper as a stop sign: the vehicle does not go out until it is sorted.
  • ✓ Renewals can take time, so start well before the date. Thirty days is a common warning window.
  • ✓ Put the dates for every vehicle and driver in one register, with one person responsible.

Need more than this?

This free tool covers the basics. A countdown forgets everything when you close the page, and it cannot message you. If you want more, we can help with:

  • ✓ Automatic alerts before a renewal is due
  • ✓ Documents stored against each vehicle
  • ✓ Renewals, inspections and maintenance in one place

Questions about this tool

Which documents should I check?

The roadworthy certificate, insurance and the driver's licence. Requirements and renewal periods are set by the relevant authorities and your insurer, so check the current rules.

Does it remind me later?

No. It only shows the position when you open it. Use our renewals tracker spreadsheet, or Fleet Command Hub for automatic alerts.

Is my information saved?

No. The dates stay in your browser and are not sent to us.

What about many vehicles?

Use the free fleet renewals tracker, which handles 50 vehicles and colours every date.
