What is inside

How to use it

1. Print one sheet for each vehicle every week.
2. The driver goes through the checks before the first trip of the day and writes OK or X in the box.
3. Any X is reported to the supervisor before the vehicle leaves, and written in the faults box.
4. The supervisor signs at the end of the week and files the sheet.

Why it matters

Most breakdowns start as small faults a driver could have spotted: a soft tyre, a low oil level, a failing light. A five to ten minute check each morning costs very little, and it gives you a written record of the condition of every vehicle.
